AOC Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru wines awarded at the Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge

This 7.6-hectare site is set above Puligny-Montrachet in a horizontal strip. The vines are planted on thin, stony soil of clayey white limestone and face east and south-east. With their body, firmness, mellowness and intensity they make pleasant wines to drink, though their most recognisable characteristics are their great finesse and delicacy. Sporting a bright golden hue, aromas of hazelnut, honey, almond, amber and exotic fruits, they pair with turbot and fish in a sauce, lobster, white meats.
