this particular site embraces two villages, Bouzeron and Chassey Le Camp, in the Saône-et-Loire department. The reputation of its Aligoté wines is long-established, entitling it to add its name to the Bourgogne Aligoté appellation initially, then subsequently warranting it an outright village appellation in 1998. The best Bourgogne Aligoté hail from this site and from Chitry.
