the name of this appellation is a give-away as to the type of wine made here, because contrary to the other Burgundy ACs, this appellation is a blend of several varietals: at least 1/3 Gamay and at most 2/3 Pinot noir. Bourgogne Passe-Tout-Grains is made throughout the region, thereby covering 91 towns and villages in Côte d’Or, 154 in Saône-et-Loire and 54 in Yonne. The best wines come from sites in Côte d’Or on the valley floor.
Grape varieties: Vins rouges : Pinot noir, gamay
