This area located north-west of Auxerre on south, south-east facing hillsides overlooking the Yonne, covers the village of Joigny in the Yonne department. This is Burgundy’s most northerly wine region and just twenty or so hectares are labelled under the appellation annually.

Grape varieties: Vins rouges, rosés : Pinot noir, césar, tressot. Vins blancs secs : Chardonnay
