AOC Bonnes Mares Grand Cru wines awarded at the Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge

Most of this 15-hectare vineyard is located in the village of Chambolle-Musigny in the Côte de Nuits though the most northerly plots are in Morey-Saint-Denis. The area is divided between more than forty wine growers. The soil comprises a thin layer of limestone on a bedrock of Jurassic limestone, lightened by stones and gravel. The red wines are robust, powerful, dense and elegant and are famed for their lengthy lifespan. With a crimson hue, they display aromas of spices, animal notes and a hint of undergrowth. Enjoy with fillet steak in sauce chasseur, duck with truffles, wild game.
