Bordeaux Clairets, blended from Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Carmenere, are vinted in the same way as the rosés. However, because they macerate for longer (24 to 36 hours), their colour is deeper and tannin content higher. Some of them spend a short period in oak.
