the red wines boast an attractive, deep hue and are robust, generous and well-balanced. They reward ageing by becoming full and fleshy. Their aromatic range is dominated by red fruit and spices. Try with red meat or game. The rosé wines, also very popular, are elegant with a full mouthfeel. They marry very well with aioli, mixed salads, courgette or aubergine tart, or subtly-flavoured cold cuts. The white wines are lively and aromatic with good roundness on the palate. They exude floral notes. Enjoyable with grilled Mediterranean fish or seafood.
