This 7.35 ha growth is located in the village of Gevrey-Chambertin, on the other side of the road from Chambertin. A thin layer of silica modifies the soil type, making it harder. Pinot noir is the sole grape variety and the wines are vigorous, virile and racy with a pleasant bouquet. Their finesse sets them apart from the other growths. Less powerful than the Chambertins, they boast fragrances of moss, undergrowth and game.
