AOC Côtes du Roussillon Villages Caramany wines awarded at the Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge

Four villages are entitled to add their name to the appellation Côtes du Roussillon-Villages and have now been promoted to ‘growth’ status: Latour-de-France, Lesquerde, Tautavel and Caramany, which must be blended from at least three varietals. Caramany: gneiss soils along the Agly valley in Caramany, with a few outlying plots in Belesta and Cassagnes.
