Located at the south-easterly tip of the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux, this area embraces a dozen villages along the right bank of the Garonne (including Saint-Macaire). The appellation is used solely for sweet white wines drawn from Semillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle.
