« Robe aux reflets de jeunesse. Nez fermé s'ouvrant sur le fruit noir mûr à l'aération. En bouche un profil sérieux, presque austère, dont on apprécie le fruit noir dense et la construction bien dessinée. Un carignan structuré qu'on ouvrira à table. »
