Château La Villatade 2020

**Château La Villatade** A quarter of an hour north of Carcassonne, in the village of Sallèles-Cabardès, Château La Villatade covers 130 hectares of vines, olive groves, woodland and garrigue. The family estate, run by Richard and Sophie, lies at the foot of the Montagne Noire, on the Côtes Noires terroir of the Minervois appellation. The estate makes red, white and rosé wines. Under the AOP Minervois, the Côtes Noires range has won several gold medals. Under the IGP Pays d'Oc, the "Trilogie des V" was awarded a star in the Guide Hachette. Its winegrowing is environmentally friendly and follows the HVE (High Environmental Value) certification. The estate also welcomes visitors, with tours of the vineyard and cellar including a tasting, five holiday cottages, and weddings, seminars and private events. With its 300-year-old stone pool fed by a natural spring, La Villatade brings together wine, heritage and the Languedoc way of life.
